Back To School 2026-2027: kick of a brilliant new school year with Bucky

This morning, every corner of GFS seemed to light up with joy as over 400 students, teachers, and parents gathered, eager to start an inspiring new school year.

Upon arrival, students received a warm welcome from teachers at the check-in station along with lovely little gifts before diving into a series of lively, meaningful game activities. Centered on the school year's theme, "Curiosity at the Heart of Learning," each game station invited students to spark their curiosity and explore through novel, joy-filled experiences.

For the 1st graders, today’s First Day of School opened a new door - a whole new world full of fascinating things to discover. A few little ones felt a bit shy, teary-eyed, or hesitant saying goodbye to their parents, but within minutes of gentle guidance from their teachers, they quickly blended into the excited atmosphere alongside their peers and older schoolmates.

Ms. Quynh Quynh (Parent of Bao Nhi and Bao Ngọc) shared: "This is my second time bringing a child into 1st grade here. Since Bao Nhi has been studying at the school for three years, I feel very at ease and not overly worried as Bao Ngoc begins her journey, because the teachers are so caring, loving, and attentive to every child. On top of that, the event atmosphere is so vibrant, and parents get to participate alongside their kids throughout the program, which keeps the children from feeling scared or overwhelmed. I hope Bao Ngoc will quickly adapt, gain confidence, and grow every day alongside her sister Bao Nhi at Greenfield."

Returning to school after a long summer break, students in grades 2-12 could not hide their excitement at reuniting with friends and teachers. It was easy to spot groups of close friends chatterboxes sharing stories of summer trips and cool experiences, exchanging handshakes, warm hugs, and endless laughter.

The new school year arrives, opening a brand-new journey packed with exciting things awaiting the students' curiosity to explore. Wishing all teachers and students a brilliant school year filled with active learning, passion, and immense happiness!
