GFS Students Join Hands to Build a "Fun, Bully-Free School and a Violence-Free Online Environment"

“Donut Bully” is an annual campaign hosted at GFS to raise awareness about preventing school bullying, conveying powerful messages of respect, fairness, and love. Moving far beyond mere slogans, every lesson throughout the campaign offers practical experiences that help students clearly understand, act properly, and spread positive values in their daily conduct.

At GFS Long Thanh Campus, alongside core educational goals focusing on life skills and personal character within the school environment, the "Donut Bully" campaign for the 2026–2027 academic year has expanded to address building a civilized online space and preventing cyberbullying - empowering students to identify and proactively respond to online harassment. The campaign received enthusiastic support from the entire student body through active participation in a series of activities, highlighted by the "Day of Kindness" festival held this morning (October 16).

During the event, students engaged in fun and meaningful activity stations: Click Smart - testing situational problem-solving skills when navigating social media, The Kindness Tree - writing loving messages to friends, Relay Race - fostering teamwork, and Sharing Smiles - capturing friendly smiles together. Each game offered an opportunity for students to draw closer, learning to respect their peers and those around them both at school and online. As the program drew to a close, every student proudly earned their "Donut Bully" badge and demonstrated a personal pledge to help eliminate bullying.

Furthermore, a series of specialized classroom sessions, drawing contests, and poster design competitions across all grade levels throughout the campaign contributed to strengthening connections, deepening lessons through visual experiences, and recognizing the students' own efforts. Together, they joined hands to combat school bullying and cyberbullying, building a safe and civilized GFS community and online space.

Teachers hope that far beyond the scope of this campaign, "Donut Bully" will serve as a constant reminder for every GFS student to consciously cultivate good character, practice kindness and love, and together eliminate school bullying so they can learn and thrive in happiness!
