A bright "Childhood Moonland" shines at Greenfield School

Another moon season has arrived, and the festive Mid-Autumn atmosphere is bustling across Greenfield School Long Thanh Campus. Alongside exciting competitions, the students enjoyed a joyful "Childhood Moonland" festival, experiencing the beauty of traditional culture flowing continuously through fun activities and folk games.

Ahead of the festival, students in Grades 2-9 enthusiastically joined various companion competitions and activities. The "little chefs" in Grade 1 made mooncakes with Chef Aden, the "little artisans" in Grades 2 and 3 passionately crafted colorful glass-paper star lanterns, and the "little artists" in Grades 4-9 brought vibrant, outstanding performances to the stage. Meanwhile, high school students in Grades 10-12 carefully prepared folk game stations so the younger students could fully enjoy a warm and fun-filled festival day.

At today's "Childhood Moonland" program (September 25), everyone immersed themselves in the traditional festive atmosphere and enjoyed exciting activities: jump rope, sack races, tin-can toss, bean sorting, and jacks. Amid the roaring laughter of the children, nostalgic childhood memories seemed to unfold right before the teachers' eyes, with the pure joy and innocence of the Children's Festival remaining fully intact.

The event grew even more lively with playful interactions with Moon Lady (Chi Hang) and Moon Boy (Chu Cuoi), alongside captivating lion dances and musical performances put on by the students themselves. The young audience could not take their eyes off the stage, captivated by the lively melodies and the charm of the "little artists."

Through these annual Mid-Autumn activities, teachers hope that students will deepen their appreciation for these familiar, heartwarming cultural traditions - learning to understand and cherish them so they can continue passing down these traditional values in the modern era.
